Product Description

Product Description:

  • 5Cr4Mo3SiMnVAl: It is a matrix die steel suitable for both cold and hot applications, complying with the GB/T 1299 standard. Its carbon content ranges from 0.47% to 0.57%, chromium content from 3.80% to 4.30%, and it also contains elements such as molybdenum, vanadium, silicon, manganese, and aluminum. This steel grade maintains a hardness of ≥50HRC at a high temperature of 700℃, with a high-temperature tensile strength of ≥1100MPa, a room-temperature tensile strength of 1100–1280MPa, and an impact toughness of ≥39J. It is suitable for manufacturing hot extrusion dies, cold heading dies, blanking dies, etc., and can also be used for high-temperature structural parts in the aerospace field.
  • 5Cr4W5Mo2V: It is a high-alloy hot-work die steel independently developed in China, positioned between traditional hot-work die steels and high-speed steels. Its tungsten content ranges from 4.50% to 5.30%, molybdenum content from 1.50% to 2.10%, and vanadium content from 0.70% to 1.10%. This steel grade has high thermal strength, wear resistance, and moderate toughness. After austenitization at 1150℃ and isothermal treatment in a 330℃ salt bath for more than 60 minutes, its impact toughness can be increased to 26–35J/cm².
